Share and Embed your content all over the Internet
With your RealtyZapp subscription, you can share and embed your profile, listings, map, and lead capture pages. RealtyZapp is a system that encourages you to share your content wherever you want and as much as you want.
Why?
Promoting your your business and your listings is RealtyZapp's #1 goal. We believe that the best way to reach that goal is to afford you the ability to promote your content all over the Internet marketplace be it websites, social media sites, email, etc. It's all about you and RealtyZapp is perfectly fine with taking backstage and letting you be in the spotlight.
You will use the Share and Embed tool to produce links and embed code to your RealtyZapp pages. A simple example might be to paste a link to one of your listings in an email. Another example might be to embed your full profile page (live and interactive) on your own business website.
What?
Sharing is one of the most powerful methods of promoting your business and properties. Not only do you want to share your content but you also want visitors to share your pages all over the Internet. RealtyZapp provides sharing tools (buttons) on your listing pages and your profile page when viewed at RealtyZapp's website. The sharing tools are powered by AddThis.com. Visit the Addthis.com website for more information.
Links can be used to share your RealtyZapp content anywhere that allows you to paste a link. For example you can pasts a link in an email and many social media posts i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.
Embed Code is a feature that allows you to show (embed) your RealtyZapp content on other websites and social sites. The simplest method is to use our Share and Embed tool to produce the HTML code that you can then paste into your website or social media page (provided the page allows you to).
How?
Sharing and embedding can be pretty technically complicated but not with RealtyZapp...
The first thing you will do is to choose to work with either Profile or Listing or Map or Leads. Click on one of them. Below you will see a submenu with one or more choices.

- - a link to open the the page in a new browser tab

Leads
Capturing leads is a great tool for building your business. Leads provides you a form that can be customized to serve many purposes i.e. a contact me form or a newsletter signup form. When the form is submitted, the system will create a Message for you. An email will also be sent to you (provided you have not disabled conversations in your Profile - Privacy Settings). In Messages you can create a Contact from the message.

- title - the large type title that appears at the top of the form. Leave it blank to omit a title.
- subtitle - a smaller type subtitle. Leave it blank to omit a subtitle.
- email or phone - allow user to provide email or phone or either (anything).

- button - provide the text to show on the Send button.
- acknowledgement - provide the text of a message that appears to the user after they send the form.
The Leads form shown in the preview is a real, live form. Go ahead and try it out. It will send you a message. Go to your Dashboard - Message to see the message.

Urly
Urly is RealtyZapp's very own URL shortening service. Got a long, ugly URL? Urly can give you a short, pretty URL to use instead. For example, you created a link to your RealtyZapp Profile page and you want to publish this link on your Twitter account but that long, ugly link is frankly too long and too ugly. Urly comes to the rescue. Create a short, pretty Urly and then post that link to your Twitter account.
- new+ - create new, blank Urly.
- your friendly name - enter a short friendly name for your reference.
- your link - enter or paste your long ugly link (URL).
- urly link - the system generated short, pretty Urly link. Copy this link and use it wherever.
- pencil icon - click to toggle the Urly editor. Changes are automatically saved when you exit a input box.
- trash - permanently trash (delete) this Urly. A trashed Urly will no longer work!
Scouts
As you probably know, on the Find page, you can create and save find filters affectionately known as Scouts. Scouts can be represented as links. These scout links can be shared like any other link. You can get any scout's link on the Find page. Select the scout and click the (down) icon.
Publish API
RealtyZapp's publication API can be used to generate a pdf file from any RealtyZapp url, especially well suited for profile and listing pages. In the near future this API will be expanded with more features but for now you can use like this...
Publication URL is https://realtyzapp.com/Publish?type=pdf&pageHeight={inches}&pageWidth={inches}&height={pixels}&width={pixels}&url={page url} where the page url is a embed link. You can see this in action on the Links page. The pdf links use the Publish API.
There is one requirement, the embed link query string parameters have to be altered slightly. The "&" (ampersand) character has to be replaced with the "|" (pipe) character.
